Did you know gaming is a $138 billion, yes billion with a B, industry and nearly half of "gamers" are women, yet women only make up 25% of the professional gaming world?!?
Join WIMMIES and Jam City, a Los Angeles based mobile game studio for an evening of diversity, inclusivity and education on women in the gaming industry.
The night will feature our first panel discussion with a group of Game Changer executives including Electronic Art's Senior Director of Mobile Publishing, Autumn Brown, Jam City’s VP of Consumer Insights, Lisa Spano, and Jam City's VP of Publishing, Vanessa Rouhani, social media influencer and entrepreneur with over 1.9MM followers, Meghan Camarena, aka Strawburry17, Director of Digital at Golin, Tiffany Everett and Head of Sales at Mobcrush, Nina Kammer. Our panelists will demystify preconceptions around the gaming industry, highlight career opportunities and the importance of increased female representation in gaming. And of course we’ll have all the good stuff you've come to expect at our events: light bites, cocktails, and the opportunity to meet fellow kick-ass ladies.
Tickets are non-transferrable and will not be available for purchase at the door. Complimentary valet parking will be provided.
